DONGHWA INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Donghwa offers hands-on internships for college students and recent graduates in all of its departments. Our internship program provides the opportunity to learn about the operations of a non-profit art institution and useful experiences related to cultural events and education programs with professional artists and experts. Donghwa also hosts a summer intern program for students. We are currently seeking interns in the following divisions: Gallery Operation, Performing Arts Events, Outreach Programs, Education Programs, Researchers & Translators. Interns must be able to commit to at least two full days a week (10AM to 5PM). The term of the internship should last 3 months, while the summer intern program is between 1-2 months. ***All internships are unpaid.
Undergraduate students (junior and seniors preferred), graduate students, or recent graduates
Fluent in both Korean and English
Assist and support all Korean Cultural Service events
Research cultural and public affairs topics
Extensive communication with US organizations and institutions (in English)
Produce written reports
Translate documents to/from Korean and English
